Getting there: Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service daily. Guests can board at the shuttle stop outside the ground floor. Getting around: If visiting different parts of the Vancouver area, a car is a good choice as the hotel is distant from shopping areas, downtown Vancouver, or other attractions. Driving is also the best way to reach the Gulf Islands, the northern coast, or the Fraser Valley. However, the greater metropolitan area does boast an excellent transit system. An express bus stops in front of the hotel and goes to two major Richmond shopping malls. Another express bus leaves the same stop and reaches downtown Vancouver in 20–30 minutes. Once there, the SkyTrain light rapid transit system can be used in the city and out to other suburbs. From the Waterfront SkyTrain station, a passenger ferry called SeaBus crosses Burrard Inlet to North Vancouver. Single fares for buses, SkyTrain, and SeaBus are less than $5 CDN.
